About us

Quality is a process,not a promise.

Sterling Trade India is a trading and export house for Indian agro and food products. Our work sits in the space between a farm cluster in Gujarat, Bihar or Andhra Pradesh and a buyer who needs the same result in every container.

Our approach

We would rather lose an order than send a doubtful lot.

Agro commodities are seasonal, variable and easy to get wrong. A good crop year and a bad one can look identical in a photograph. That is why every enquiry we take begins with a written specification and every dispatch ends with the paperwork that proves it was met.

Our range covers dehydrated onion and garlic, green and red chilli, cumin and the wider Indian spice basket, makhana, peanuts, jaggery and moringa. Some buyers take one line in mixed pallets; others consolidate several categories into a single container. Both are welcome.

Behind the brand is a simple commitment carried in our mark — exporting quality, delivering trust.

Processing and inspection of dehydrated vegetables

At origin

We start where the crop starts.

Before a price exists there is a field, a harvest window and a processor. We spend our season there so your season is uneventful.

Mission

Make Indian agro supply predictable

To remove the guesswork from buying Indian agro commodities — through written specifications, verified lots and documentation that arrives before the vessel does.

Vision

A name buyers repeat

To be the first Indian supplier an importer thinks of across dehydrated vegetables, spices and speciality foods — and the one they stop shopping around after finding.

Our story

Built one specification at a time.

  1. The beginning

    A single commodity, done properly

Sterling Trade started by consolidating dehydrated onion for domestic seasoning houses — one product, one specification, repeated until it was boringly reliable.

  2. Widening

From one crop to a basket

Buyers who trusted the onion asked for garlic, then chilli, then cumin. Each addition arrived only after we had found a processor we would visit unannounced.

  3. Going out

    First export containers

IEC, APEDA and Spices Board registrations in place, the first containers sailed to the Gulf. Documentation discipline became as important as product discipline.

  4. Today

    Ten categories, one standard

Dehydrated vegetables, chillies, whole and ground spices, makhana, peanut, jaggery and moringa — supplied to domestic manufacturers and overseas importers alike.

What we hold to

Four values, no slogans

01

Transparency

You see the same photographs, lab reports and loading pictures that we see. No selective reporting.

02

Verification

Nothing ships on trust alone. Moisture meters, sortex passes and third-party labs decide.

03

Long relationships

We price for the fifth order, not the first. That is why our buyers rarely need a second supplier.

04

Fair sourcing

Payments to farm-level suppliers move on time, which is how we keep first pick of each season's lots.

How an order moves

Four steps, no surprises

01

Source

Direct relationships with processors and mandis in the belts that grow each crop best.

02

Grade

Cleaning, sortex, sieving and lab checks against the agreed moisture, purity and colour values.

03

Pack

Bulk bags, cartons, vacuum or private-label retail packs, marked to your artwork.

04

Ship

Fumigation, phytosanitary and export documentation, stuffing and dispatch from Indian ports.

People before product

Behind every container is a grower we pay on time.

Reliable supply is not a logistics trick. It is what happens when the people at the start of the chain want to work with you again.

Sourcing belts

Each crop from the district that does it best.

India grows the same crop in a dozen states, and the difference between them is the difference between a happy buyer and a claim. We buy narrowly and deliberately.
